Osiris Reborn System Requirements — Beta PC Specs & Engine

Final PC requirements aren’t out; Steam lists only Windows 10. For the Beta, Owlcat asks for a Ryzen 5 5600 or Core i5-10400F, a GTX 1080 or RX 6600, and 16 GB of RAM at minimum, and an RTX 4070 or RX 7700 XT recommended, with 30+ GB of storage. Owlcat says final specs will come closer to release. The game runs on Unreal Engine 5, per interviews with its CTO. There is no Mac or Linux version, and Steam Deck is unrated.

A community Beta guide adds 8 GB of VRAM for minimum and 12 GB for recommended ⚠ community guide. That fits the GPUs listed, but Owlcat didn’t state it.

Final requirements: not yet

Steam’s requirement boxes currently say only “Windows 10” for both minimum and recommended. Owlcat: “We will share the final system requirements for the game closer to its release.” Owlcat’s store still shows a template with placeholders for storage size, internet connection and DRM, so none of those is decided publicly.

Engine and graphics options

The game is built on Unreal Engine 5. That comes from interviews with Owlcat’s CTO Alexey Drobyshevsky and design director Leonid Rastorguev about the switch to UE5 and rewriting parts of it for zero-G. Owlcat’s own site and posts don’t name the engine. Wccftech’s Beta hands-on lists DLSS, FSR and XeSS upscaling ⚠ one hands-on. Ray tracing and frame generation haven’t been mentioned.

Steam Deck, Mac, Linux, controllers

  • Steam Deck: not rated by Valve, and nothing from Owlcat.
  • Mac and Linux: no. Steam lists Windows only.
  • Controllers: Steam lists partial controller support and DualShock support.
  • GeForce NOW: not on NVIDIA’s supported list. See platforms.

Consoles

For the Beta on console, Owlcat recommends Xbox Series X and PS5 “for the smoothest experience”, which suggests Series S is the weakest target. The PlayStation Store listing flags PS5 Pro enhancements ⚠ pre-release store data.

Languages

English has full audio. French, German, Spanish (Spain), Russian and Simplified Chinese have interface and subtitles. Steam and the Xbox store list the same six.
